It was midnight when I reached Delhi airport, my siblings were already waiting there for me and when I saw in their eyes a sudden happiness ran in my veins, I was seeing them after a long time. I felt panic during the immigration formalities but my brother helped me and I took a sigh of relief. As we board the flight, I glance over some passengers busy in their indulgence. There was less passenger. After nearly 6 hours, the plane landed at the Hong Kong International Airport. As I exchanged glances to my sibling the adrenaline was rushing, we were excited.

This city is a synonym for craziness, a great city for city travelers. The first thing we do after landing was pick up Octopus Card and local SIM. The Octopus Card is same as EZ-link in Singapore that let you pay for all public transports and for a little bit shop. The experience of airport express high-speed train was fabulous. After reaching a hotel we grab some food and head to explore the city of tallest skyscrapers. The things we enjoyed here are:

View from Victoria Peak

The peak is located at an elevation of 554m, city’s famous attraction. The summit arguably affords breathtaking views of this harbor city’s island, Kowloon, Victoria Harbor, on very clear days. The experience of a 7-minute ride of Peak Tram was thrilling. The night view from this peak was mesmerizing and glossy.

Shoot to street Market

The market of the city is a utopia in itself, one could ever wish to buy can be found in Hong Kong’s enigmatic street market. Ladies’ Market is dotted with stalls selling clothes and accessories, Temple Street Night Market, for varieties of food, Car Street for antiques, Apliu Street Market for electronics are fantastic.

Ngong Ping 360

It is a gondola lift on Lantau Island. Here we relish over amazing Crystal Cabin, and astonishing bird’s eye view of the magical deep sea and lush green shallow mountainside.

Stare at Big Budda

The massive bronze statue of Buddha known as “Big Buddha”, located west of the city center on Lantau Island is the main attraction. The gaze upon this statue was astonishing. Next day We’go to Ham tin Beach, one of the popular beaches in the Tai long wan beach area in Sai Kung.

Hong Kong Disneyland

When I entered, I felt a nostalgia have alive again. The place is the happiest land on the earth and I was the happiest person there, the mixed feeling of thrill and happiness was making me crazy, I was missing being a child, the feeling I was being there made me feel even happier. The Cinderella castle, Disney park, Mystic Manor, Dwarf statue make me feel like I am dreaming and the taste of Mickey waffle tingled on my lips. We stay there until night and enjoyed the parade and firework of this dreamy wonderland. Next day we say goodbye to this city with multitudes of snaps in our camera and memories of this wonderful land.
